Read: Hebrews 1:1-4
Every family has different traditions for celebrating Christmas. Like many families, we are up early Christmas morning to open presents. You can imagine everyone opening their gifts in anticipation of what is in the wrapping. What you don’t know is that we always save the best gift for last. Our kids know that, and always look forward to that last gift. In Hebrews 1:1-4, The Jewish Christians learn that God saved His very best for last in sending His only son Jesus. Look at all that God gives us through His son.
He is supreme over all traditions, Law, creation, and Angels.
Sustains all creation by his powerful word.
He radiates Gods glory and reflects who God is.
And best of all, He purifies us from all our sin.
Who is Jesus to you?
Discuss: If we think about it, Jesus is the central figure in the universe. How can you make Jesus the central figure in your every day life?
