What is AWANA?
  • A weekly, global, fun, Bible-based kid’s program whose goal is to create lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ who possess a strong, Biblical worldview while leading active lives of faith.

  • Exists “to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.”

  • Stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” taken from 2 Timothy 2:15, which says, “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”

  • “is a global, nonprofit ministry committed to the belief that the greatest impact for Christ starts with kids who know, love, and serve Him.”
